The Fall Prevention Clinic
This autumn, the Fall Prevention Clinic at Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospital found that Treax Pads gave extra training motivation to their patients. Therefore, they now are conducting a randomised study using the pads, starting in October this year.
Aarhus Municipality
Last year Aarhus Municipality bought eight sets of Treax Pads for four senior community centres and four care homes in one of the local areas. Treax Pads were chosen because several physiotherapist requested this innovative assistive technology, which can be used by both wheelchair users and people who can stand.
Næstved Municipality
When the coloured Treax Pads are blinking away, it almost looks like a discotheque. At least that is what some of the elderly users who train with the coloured pads in Næstved Municipality think. And when the discotheque starts going, a competitive spirit springs forth.
Sandnes Municipality
The municipality of Sandnes in southern Norway has decided to focus on welfare technology in treatment of children with disabilities. This has led to the project ”Leisure for Everyone”.
Home exercises
Asker Municipality in Norway use Treax Pads for rehabilitation. They are used as part of physiotherapeutic training at home for users with neurological conditions or seniors with balance sensitivity.
Treax Pads are used to challenge the citizens’ balance and attention range. Therapists experience a great flexibility, as the pads can be used while the citizens are standing, sitting or both.
